Desert Vibes

This is quite possibly one of my favorite posts I’ve done in a good while, not only because I got to visit one of the most serene and gorgeous hotels ever, but also because in combination with that I have to say this is one of my favorite outfits Ive blogged about. For months i have been searching for the perfect black hat. The one I had, had been worn out and after searching plenty of stores and boutiques I just couldn’t find one that fit me perfectly. So let me share with you where I found it right? Well I was invited to the opening of @StyleSocietyBoutique, I unfortunately wasn’t able to make it to the grand opening, however based off their Instagram I knew I needed to go, so a few days after it was my day off and I drove out to visit. (They’re located in Costa Mesa) First off walking in, my eyes were everywhere! I was like, omg that necklace, omg that tee shirt, omg these shorts, oh but look at those booties and then voila I spied my hat. A sturdy brim, a removable brown strap and it fit my head perfectly. As if that wasn’t enough, I spied this peach romper, the sleeves is what caught my eye. I also picked up a few other goodies but you’ll just have to wait till I style them for ya’ll 😉 So i decided to wear this out on a Palm Springs adventure I went on. As we were driving around we spied this hotel that I just needed to peek my head into, and Lord Im glad we did, it GORGEOUS!!!! Unfortunately they were booked up, with Coachella being around the corner but the ladies there were sweet enough to let me shoot there. I know I need to come back and stay here at some point. StyleSocietyRomper1 StyleSocietyRomper9 StyleSocietyRomper8

Seriously?! Look! Doesn’t that look like heaven? I just want to lay on that hammock all day with a good book and a class of wine. StyleSocietyRomper6

This entry way though! Took me back to having a Carrie Bradshaw moment; “Hello, I live here…” hehe 🙂 StyleSocietyRomper5 StyleSocietyRomper4 StyleSocietyRomper3 StyleSocietyRomper2

Overall, twas a wonderful day out in Palm Springs and I hope you enjoyed reading up on this post. I can get used to these desert vibes, with FirstAidKit in the background, large hats and loose boho clothing. I’ve been working hard on adding some variety into not only my blog, but my Instagram, and closet.
