Wildflower

We have finally received some rain here in Southern California. YAY! (It only lasted two days, but it’s better than nothing so i will take it!!) As i have said in previous posts, rain for me is the most beautiful weather, i feel such an intense happiness, where i truly can not stop smiling, in contrast to those gloomy days. The chill I get when walking outside, the sound of rain falling outside my window, and the greenery that follows after the rain. All of those things and more are just so beautiful to me. Remember a few posts back, when my friend and i went out to chase the sunset? Well, I knew that this rainfall wouldn’t last, so i wanted to take advantage of it and attempt to chase down the rain, my friend grabbed his camera and his umbrella, and i ran to my closet and put on the first dress that caught my eye. That was all i put on, no make up, no hair done, no sweater, and no shoes. I know most of you are calling me crazy right now, but i had this vision in my head where as soon as i got to the hills i would go running in the rain and twirl around. Thats just what i did, i twirled, i danced, i laughed and ran around. Unfortunately, the rain stopped exactly when we got to the location but that’s okay. I have to admit to feeling such a freedom out there, it’s quiet and peaceful, with a touch of eeriness. I’ve been craving more sceneries like this, i’ve especially had my eyes on Ireland, have any of you traveled there and could give me some advise? Would love to hear it! This afternoon, I honestly felt like a wildflower, in the midst of her bloom. Thats where I’m at in life, i feel like I’m climbing up this big mountain, and soon, i will be at the top.
