Hello to all my beautiful friends reading this. I hope that this season has brought a spring to your step because it sure has to mine! Los Angeles has been giving us some beautiful days on repeat and I plan on soaking in as much of it as I can! This morning my lovely friend Michelle and I decided to go out to Studio City and have ourselves a cup of coffee to start off our morning, neither one of us had really explored this cute town and Im so glad we came!
These days are like therapy to me, I had shared with you all in my last post that I recently graduated. That chapter has closed, and now Im feeling anxious and nervous for whats next. Lately I find myself stressing out and overthinking things involving my career, but like Bryan told me yesterday “baby, one step at a time. Focus on tomorrow and tomorrow we will focus on the following day.” He didn’t know it, but these words truly stuck with me, I instantly felt safe, and I looked at him and thought to myself how lucky I was to have him in my life. And so with that said, I want to motivate all of you to do the same. Yes, it’s vital to plan for the future, but when you feel yourself getting overwhelmed just focus on tomorrow and make that day yours. I am a true believer that if you work hard, if you show perseverance, and you’re a good hearted person you will be blessed with the best.
WOOO felt like I just went on preaching mode! haha!
So on another note, this dress! Doesn’t it just scream spring! UGH I’m addicted ya’ll if I could wear a summer dress and sneakers everyday I would! If you’ve been following me on Instagram you know by now that my best friend lately has been Nordstrom Rack. Theres one across the street from me (trouble!) that I go to and *knock on wood every time I’ve gone in there I end up walking out with new shoes but it’s okay because Im changing up my shopping habits lately. Let’s be real I can’t be buying full price all the time, just yet. Im trying to invest into pieces that I can wear several times, several ways. So I bought these Sam Edelman sneakers…i mean look at them they’re so damn cute, comfortable and only…you ready? Only $35!!! *Crowd goes wild
Then as Im walking to the register skipping along with my great find, I see this dress in one of the dress racks. The first thing that attracted me to it was the print, I loved the colors! I loved that it was off shoulder and when I looked at the price…$15. “Umm..kay I better get out of here” were my exact words.
Now, the only con about all this is that with these finds I can’t link the exact items because they’re not available online. BUT worry not because I scrambled though the internet and linked some similar finds for you okay? PS Option One for both the dresses and sneakers together are under $50! Now that’s what Im talking about! And hey, next time you have a few hours to spare go check out your nearest rack store, and remember to take life one day at a time, good things are coming your way!
