When you are doing everything that you need to do in life, such as work, hobbies, dating, time with friends etc, it may feel sometimes like you are on a merry go round. I wanted to write today about simplifying your life. I have met people who unintentionally complicate their life, and I am not here to criticize you, I am here as someone who used to be the same way. I would let drama overwhelm me and take over. If I may, I want to give you some advise, take your time, don’t live so fast. Troubles will come, but those troubles will pass. Life is passing by, it doesn’t stop to wait for us to figure shit out. Live a simple life, be someone that you love and someone that you understand. Let others see you, for who you are. If someone isn’t bringing you happiness, cut them out of your life, whether it be family, friends, or acquaintances. NO ONE DESERVES TO DULL YOUR HAPPINESS. NO ONE! Do you hate your job? Do you resent it? Why are you there? Quit and go find a job that will bring your soul happiness as much as it brings in the cash. Yes, we all need the money, but is it really worth hating your life Monday through Friday? If you’re young, single and able, you still have a chance to find a career you love and not a job that just pays your bills. I made that decision a few years back. I want to live a meaningful life. Follow your heart, honestly, give it a try. I can honestly say in the past few months since I have tried the advise above, I am so much happier and hope to better myself even more, and live a happier and simpler life.
Bottom line is:
(love more, argue less, admit when you’re wrong, apologize when you’ve hurt someone. don’t be a jerk, kiss passionately, say kind words more than hurtful words. find your passion, work hard, pursue the dream. don’t let the fire dim, find yourself someone to love. live a simple life.)
*My post was inspired after listening to “Simple Man.” Such a simple but powerful message.
My dress for this shoot is from Tobi.Com. ( Sand Castles Maxi Dress ) A beautiful, light dress. It is sheer from the knees down, adjustable straps and two slits on the side so that it can flow with the wind. So comfortable! Will post another example, sometime next week, on how I can also wear this out and dress it up.
