Hola amigos! Happy Monday! As we all know, and as I have mentioned many times before I am a lover of all people who search for a passion and pursue it whole heartedly. I am truly in love with talking and meeting people who are similar to me in that aspect. Today is just one of those days, where I’m feeling extremely excited. Excited for the future!! For the places I will see, the goals I will accomplish etc. I wanted to write today just to tell you, you’re going to make it. Those who work hard for it, will make it. Even for those who have a “risky” passion, such as all my actresses, models, journalists, artists, photographers, & other careers that most people would consider to be “risky”. You will make it! I recently was honored and asked to be a judge for the Miss Teen 2015 pageant. Doing so, i was able to meet such amazing young women who are pursuing their passions. Along the way I talked to some who would sadly tell me “my family doesn’t support me being a model”, “they say my passion for drawing is not going to get me anywhere” and the list of “you cant’s” continued. I felt as if fate had truly put me in these ladies life to remind them that they CAN and WILL accomplish their dream as long as they work for it. The way I see it, my passion for journaling is that even if i don’t make it to, what some people would consider “the top” I would be happy just at the fact that I am trying. Remember, “I can and I will.” What passion are you chasing? Have you taken any risks lately? Are you proud of that risk? I would love to hear from you.
Outfit time! This denim skirt was thrifted and I love it because it hugs my curves perfectly. It’s the first one I’ve ever purchased and am looking forward to experimenting other ways of wearing them. White top is from American Apparel, and shoes from Aldo. Im really loving midi skirts for spring, and this outfit was perfect for a girls brunch date in Laguna.
