The Holosomatic® Method

The Holosomatic® Method is a body-based method for personal change, created by Alexis Alcalá and taught by InnerCamp since 2018.

"Holo" means whole; "somatic" means of the body. The idea is simple: lasting change needs the whole person, and the body is where it starts.

Why the body comes first

Most of us try to think our way into a different life. We read, we plan, we understand our patterns, and we still react the same way under pressure. Stress, fear and old habits live in breathing patterns, muscle tension and the nervous system as much as in our thoughts. The Holosomatic® Method works there first, then brings the mind along.

The four layers

The method combines four main layers, practised in this order:

  1. Breathwork. Conscious, connected breathing to shift state, release held emotion and build capacity to stay present with strong sensation.
  2. Bodywork. Touch, pressure and movement to soften chronic tension. The method works with four tension belts in the body.
  3. Energy. Practices that work with three energy centres (the hara or womb, the heart centre and the pineal gland) to build vitality and focus.
  4. Manifestation. Moving from inner change to outward action: intention, then direction, then a concrete plan that reaches out into life.

Supporting layers include sound (music, binaural beats and frequencies), somatic movement, NLP and mindset work.

How a session flows

A full Holosomatic® journey moves through seven phases: Release the Body, Activate the Energy, Meet the Guardian, Clear the Root, Claim the Vision, Build the Plan, Anchor for Life. A two-hour workshop touches the first two or three. A City Retreat runs all seven over a weekend. A keynote gives the audience a short, stage-safe taste of the first phases.

Safety and honesty

Breath and body work can be strong. The method is taught with screening, clear contraindications, consent around touch and an emphasis on regulation over catharsis. It is a practice for wellbeing and personal growth. It is not medical or psychological treatment, and it does not replace it.

Where the method is taught
