What is the Holosomatic® Method?

A plain explanation of the Holosomatic® Method by its creator, Alexis Alcalá: the four layers, the seven phases, and what it is not.

People often ask me to explain the method in one sentence. Here it is: the Holosomatic® Method helps people change through the body first, and then the mind follows.

I built it out of my own need. After years in corporate IT I hit a wall. I understood my patterns very well. Understanding did not move them. What moved them was breath, touch and movement, practices that let me feel what I had only been describing.

The method has four main layers. Breathwork shifts your state and lets held emotion move. Bodywork softens the tension we carry for years; we work with four tension belts in the body. Energy practices work with three centres, the hara or womb, the heart and the pineal gland, to build vitality and focus. Manifestation takes the change outward, into direction and action in the world.

Around these sit supporting layers: sound, somatic movement, and some NLP and mindset work.

A full journey has seven phases: Release the Body, Activate the Energy, Meet the Guardian, Clear the Root, Claim the Vision, Build the Plan, Anchor for Life. The order matters. If you try to set a vision while your body is still braced, the vision comes from fear.

What it is not: it is not therapy, and it does not replace medical or psychological care. It does not promise miracles. It is a practice. Done with good guidance, it helps people feel more, react less and live closer to what they actually want.

Since 2018 we have certified more than 2,500 practitioners through InnerCamp. The method keeps evolving, because every room teaches me something.
